Welcome to Rawmarsh & Arnold Nursery School Federation
As Headteacher, I am incredibly proud of everything we offer at Rawmarsh and Arnold Federation, and of the wonderful children, families and staff who make our community so special.
We are passionate about giving every child the very best start to their learning journey. As an Outstanding setting, we create warm, nurturing and inspiring environments where children feel happy, safe and excited to learn through play, exploration and discovery. It is a joy to see our children grow in confidence, curiosity and independence each day.
Our learning is carefully planned using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Development Matters framework. We provide rich, engaging experiences across all seven areas of learning, both indoors and outdoors, so that every child can thrive and develop a lifelong love of learning.
At the heart of everything we do are our core values of excellence, inclusion and integrity. We take the time to really know each child as an individual, and we place great importance on building strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers. I truly believe that working in close partnership with families is key to helping children flourish, and we value your role as your child’s first and most important teacher.
We are always looking for ways to improve what we do. Our commitment to continuous improvement means we are constantly reflecting, learning and evolving to ensure we provide the highest quality education and care in a stimulating, safe and welcoming environment.
Our dedicated team of highly trained and experienced staff care deeply about every child’s development and wellbeing. Children are supported by qualified Early Years Teachers and skilled early childhood educators who work together to help each child reach their full potential.
We are here to support you and your child every step of the way. I hope our website gives you a sense of who we are and what we offer, but the best way to experience our nursery is to visit us. Please do not hesitate to get in touch or come and see us — I would be delighted to welcome you personally.
