Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum

At Rawmarsh and Arnold Federation, we provide a broad, balanced and enriching curriculum built on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. We believe that children learn best through play, and we use this as the foundation for developing key skills, knowledge and understanding across all seven areas of learning.

We carefully support every child as an individual, offering early intervention where needed and providing both additional support and greater challenge to ensure all children can thrive.

Our experienced team plans engaging and meaningful learning experiences, regularly observing and assessing children’s progress to ensure they are always moving forward in their learning journey.

Through our practice, we aim to:

• Create a happy, safe and nurturing environment, rich in language, both indoors and outdoors
